Touratech Gas Tank
From the getting the tank to finish was about 6 Sundays.
The paint part was the longest one. To adjust the crach guards was the hards part. I paid about $600 for the tank, $200 for pait material and about $100 on miscelaneous.
The bending pump assemble was the scariest part. You could break that. Why TT makes such hard to fit accessories?

The beak tabs had to be out of the way...
and the Wunderlich crash bars won't allowed the tank to fit...
I cut bot sides of the crash bars so the tank will fit, but now the crash bars are loose.
The pum assemble needs to be bend. That was one scary momment.
The float now berrely touches the filter. I can't find another way.
There goes the tabs. I cut it flush, then just press the rubber in between.
The tank is on place, but now I need to fix the crash bars. For that I rode to my friends shop.
That was the longest service on the bike so far. Many weeks to paint and couple Sundays to install it.
The last touch: the decals and BMW Roundel
Now, at my friends' shop: this is how we need to move the Wunderlich crash bars: just 2 milimiters to the inside.
We had to make sure the suspension will clear.

Did you know that you have to remove the front wheel to remove the Wunderlich crash bars? We had to remove it so we could paint it.

Clear on both sides, from the tank and from the suspension
The left side is tight, since the piston is about 1" up fron then the right., but still all clear.
Almost touchs the cilinder, but it does not. I try on bumpy roads and there is no touching.
The pump assmeble, now with easy scress as a clamp. Make your life easy if you ever have to remove it on the road.
The Omega quick connetors are much better then the stock ones.

This is why I could not move the filter outside. There is no space on the right lobe.
