Moving time = 10:40h - Total time = 13h

We depart at 9:10AM, since we were waiting for the rest of our friends who never arrived. They were about 8 hours late the day before, and they could not get to us on time. We end up meeting again 10 days later, in Denali Park.
First time just for taking the tent and camp gear down took us 40 minutes. At the end of the trip we were doing from wake-up to ready to go in less then 30 minutes.
After leaving Castle Crag, the scenario on I-5 became more interesting. Nice views, snowy mountains, lakes, rivers, lots of green. Really good.
Oregon limits the speed to 70MPH so we had to be more careful there. Then Washington limits it to 60 and I got my first ticket in America there, exactly 3 miles before I left the state... That wasn't fair... The COP was nice and was making expressions of admiration for our bike, but was firm on the ticket. He clocked me at 89, after I had pushed the brakes all the way. I guessed I was 3 digits the seconds before. Well, $153 less for the trip.

We had lunch at a Mac Donald's near Rosenburg, OR and hit the Portland traffic jam at 3:30PM. That was a big delay on our trip. Make a not to not be at Portland at the rush hours. They have so many bridges that create bottlenecks all over the exits.

Our dinner was pizza at Castle Rock, WA, just few miles after Longview, WA. The pizza takes forever and wasn't that good.

The Gas # 07 was in Seattle area and don't believe when they say 'Gas next Exit' there. We had to ride for about 2 miles each way for the nearest gas station.

The night in Sumas was at the Border Inn Motel, exactly in front of the Canadian border. The night was not too good. At 4AM, a couple next door woke us up in a big fight. I had to call 911, since the hotel wasn't aware. The fight only ended when the police knocked at their door.
Any way, it was a good reason to depart early and we did it.
The temperature today range from 57F to 87F.
