Monday, July 11, 2005 - Day 14
From Whitehorse to Fort Nelson

Today's stats:
Miles rode = 588 average moving = 65MPH
Stops for Gas = 2 times = G30 to G31 on the map
Moving time = 8:30h - Total time = 10:00H
Average MPH = 40
Today's total cost = $100
Canada 1 S, Canada 97 S

Again, the same Alaska Highway we already knew until Watson Lake, where we stopped to see all those signs. Next time I will bring one of my own to fix there. From here on the Alaska Highway is new for us, but we had no surprises. Actually, I would say that Cassier Highway is better to see, even through its worst pavement, or lack of it.
We had lunch at Toad River in a place you must stop, named Toad restaurant (how smart!!!) were the ceiling is covered with thousands of head caps.
Good food there.
The rest of the trip was uneventful and we slept at a good campsite there
