Today we wake 4:00AM, pacific Time (6:00AM here) and by 8:00AM we are on the road.

The weather was forecasting rain for today, so we would like to beat it.

Fortunatly, didn't rain all day long on our path, but Jonesville, our destination, had about 3" of rain all morning

We rode HW 1 from North to South, and was beutifull.

Lot of plantations and nice houses to see.

Swamp all over.

 

Can you belive the temperature was 121F???

And we were about 90feet of elevation.

 

This is Natchitoches. A vere cute town in the midlle of Louisianis.
The Red River cuts thru the town, and people use it with boats and jet-skis.

The buildins are Franche style.

Here we are, taking a braking when the womans are doing shopping on the stores

We went also to Fort St. Jean Baptiste.

It's a replica of a French Colonial Fort.

This was a beautifull plantation we went today.

It's in process of restauration by the government.
 

This will be our home next 4 days.

The Kirby House of Trinity

It's a wonderfull Bad and Breakfast

Was build circa 1850 and is keep on the same family since them.
