Deep Creck now had his water flow joined to Virgin River and it's noticeble. You will have to be more carefull to cross sections of the river from now on. This part was one of the most beautiful on the whole hike. |
The tunnel like path was gorgeous. |

At 3:45PM we got our first real obstacle. Larry climbs the rocks from the right, but the rest of us just cross swimming from the left. Not picture since I had to bag my camera. |
Tip of the page: Zion can be very hot on summer days, going over 100F. Bring a lot of water and dring it a lot. Ate least one quarter avery half day. It will keep you cool and also will help your muscles not getting to much pain. You will need a permit for through hikes and overnight trips and it can be picked up on the day before the hike if you have a reservation, or you can participate on the lottery (check the link below). Camping is limited to about 80 people per night, so reservation is a good advice.

Who is Elton I was born in Brazil and my wife and I moved to USA, California in 1996, for a change in our lives. Took us some time to learn the language and get into this country, but I think we are doing very well expect the learning a new language after 35 is not easy. We became citizens in 2007. |
