Before campsite number 7 (yep… I could not find 5 and 6) we will see this interesting view of the Virgin River: the water goes from the left to the right and make a visual graphic very pretty. Worth stops and takes pictures here.
The campsite number 7 was so so. You can see the picture showing the river and the post mark and the picture below shows the campsite it self. Not much room here.

WE GOT HOME…
At 3:58PM, exactly 7:30 hours after we start today we got to your campsite.
It’s very neat; with a cave you can just lay your sleeping bag there. No need for tent.
Larry was the first one to unpack his things and choose a perfect place: still under the protection of the rock, but he could see the skies from there.

I removed my shoes and hang it to dry a little bit. I should have brought a pair of sandals for this moment. Make a not for the next trip.
Mike starts filtering water from the river so we could have our meal.

This is the view from our campsite. Eliane and I got the space most inside the cave.

.During the night, the noise here was a bit more amplified and also the wind makes a sound that looks like someone had a bon box at the distance. Actually at the beginning we thought that some freak had brought his sound system to the park. Later I could figure out that it was the wind.
We sleep for 12 hours. Yes… that was too much.

Next day we wake up really late.
Was 8:45 and we are having breakfast. Maybe because the darkness of the cave, nobody was paying attention to the time.
The Jetboil was a great thing to bring. It boils the water quickly and is very compact.

9:50 and we were on the trail again. You should not do that...

We were passed by many hikers were we still having breakfast and packing things.

We pack pretty well today, using the dry sacks because today we will find many deep passes on the Virgin River.

Campsite number 9 was right below ours.

Somewhere today I hurt my knee. I could not remmember were was it, but right now it's hurting a lot. It will delay our return.

You have to be careful not to twist your legs on the rock. I guess I wasn't.

Campsite number 10 is another good one.

Some rapid white waters today.

The Virgin River gets more water from 3 other creks: Deep Creeck, Kolob Creek and Goose Creek.

Tip of the page:
Bring a pair of sandals of flip flops to relax at your campsite.

If you plan to camp on Springdale or Zion Watchman campsite make sure you have reservation for summer months. The spaces fill very quickly there.

I guess that the best time to hike the Narrows would be June to September. November thru May will be very cold and you may have to wear a wet suits and cold weather gear, so it will more trouble going thru the obstacles on the trail. July and August are the months with most rain on the park.
