Considered
the oldest and largest tree in the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees,
the Grizzly Giant is one of the symbols for which Yosemite's sequoia
groves are best know. Located in the Lower Grove, the Grizzly Giant
is 2.700 years old. The tree stands 200 feet tall and its base cannot
capture the greatness and beauty of this ancient sequoia. |
